Our Story

Eden + Elie was born from a vision.

Eden + Elie sets out to create change by combining purpose, culture and inclusion in the form of intricately crafted pieces of handwoven jewelry by our Singapore-based team of artisans who are adults with autism.

Through our work, we highlight the need not just for economic inclusion but also for meaningful employment for such underserved communities.

By combining strong design aesthetics, innovative techniques, and sustainable materials - we honor craft, heritage, and culture, while bringing inclusion and effecting change in the fashion industry.

Crafting Change, One Bead at a Time

We believe in design's transformative power.

Our Singapore-based team of skilled neurodivergent artisans, majority of whom are adults on the autism spectrum, make each piece from premium materials, and our curated collections inspire elevated everyday living through joyful, luxury jewelry.

The simplest things in life are the hardest to do beautifully. But it hasn't stopped us. Every Eden + Elie creation is a brushstroke in our canvas of a world where beauty and purpose harmoniously coexist.

These artisans, each bringing unique perspectives, infuse their distinct talents into every bead and thread. Their meticulous work results in pieces that not only adorn but also inspire, bridging the gap between craft and high fashion, between individual expression and universal appeal.

Our Commitment

At Eden + Elie, we're committed to:

Ethical sourcing of materials
Fair employment practices
Sustainable production methods
Supporting artisans with diverse abilities
Creating jewelry that enhances lives through craft
We are not merely crafting jewelry.

We are preserving traditions, creating opportunities, and telling stories. Every Eden + Elie piece embodies our dedication to enhancing lives through thoughtful design and conscious craftsmanship.

Our Artisans

Craftsmanship is the heart of Eden + Elie. In a world dominated by mass production, we choose the timeless path of tradition and human touch.

Our artisans, each bringing their unique skills and perspectives, infuse every piece with character. We honor centuries-old techniques, using needle and thread to weave intricate bead patterns. This approach allows us to create truly unique pieces while providing fair, sustainable work opportunities within our community.

Our design process is a labor of love. We meticulously chart each pattern, refining prototypes until we achieve the perfect harmony of color, texture, and fit. While we strive for consistency, we celebrate the subtle variations that make each piece distinctly handmade—a true reflection of the human spirit behind our craft.

Our Materials & Process

At Eden + Elie, we believe exceptional jewelry springs from the perfect fusion of premium materials and meticulous craftsmanship. Our unwavering commitment to quality, ethical sourcing, and traditional techniques is the golden thread that runs through every piece we create.

We are committed to using sustainable modern materials, such as glass and gold-plated metals. We also incorporate recycled gold and silver, ensuring our pieces are entirely lead and nickel-free to meet international standards.

Materials

Precision Beadwork
We use delica seed beads from Japan's oldest manufacturer. These tiny glass marvels, each less than 2mm in diameter, offer unparalleled uniformity and quality. From over 2,200 colors, we meticulously select beads for their durability and colorfastness. Our 24k gold-plated delicas exemplify this commitment, costing significantly more than standard beads.

Resilient Threading
Our intricate designs are woven using a braided bead thread made from gel-spun polyethylene one of the strongest available. This ensures our pieces maintain their integrity through years of wear.

Premium Metals
We use lead-free 22k and 24k gold plating, 14k gold-fill, 18k rose gold plating, pure copper, and sterling silver. These high-quality metals offer superior durability, especially in humid climates.

Process

Honoring Tradition
In a world of mass production, we choose to create by hand. Each piece is uniquely crafted, celebrating the centuries-old tradition of needlework and bead weaving. This approach allows us to offer a distinctly human touch in every design.

Empowering Artisans
Our hand-intensive techniques enable us to work with and train artisans with diverse abilities who might otherwise be excluded from the premium design market. This commitment to handmade pieces is not just about aesthetics it's about providing fair, sustainable work opportunities.

Meticulous Design
Our process begins with carefully charted weaving patterns, considering bead sizes, finishes, and colors. We create multiple prototypes for each design, refining colors, textures, and fit. This iterative process ensures consistency while preserving the unique character of handmade jewelry.

Ethical Sourcing
We partner only with reputable, ethical suppliers. This allows us to stand confidently behind every piece we create, knowing it meets our exacting standards for quality and responsibility.
